Graham NashHailing from Blackpool, England, a young Graham Nash began singing in local pubs with childhood pal Allan Clarke at age 14, displaying a style that was heavily influenced by the Everly Brothers. Nash and Clarke eventually joined The Hollies, a group that created some of the most stirring three-part harmonies in rock. The Hollies had several hits in both England and the United States from 1963 to 1968, when Nash’s creative leaps in songwriting and psychedelic experimentation caused him to leave the pop rock group.A fateful meeting with David Crosby at a Mamas & Papas recording session led he and Crosby to form the now legendary Crosby, Stills & Nash, which soon added Neil Young to the fold and became the collective voice of an entire generation. Experimental textures, acoustic anthems and their signature vocal harmonies cemented CSNY’s place in rock history. Nash was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of CSNY, and his contribution "Teach Your Children" to the landmark album Déjà Vu (1970) has become an all time classic. A CSNY reunion in 1999 produced Looking Forward and the ensuing CSNY2K tour. With more than 35 years, five solo albums and several collaborative projects in the books, Graham Nash’s high timbre is still one of the most sweetly recognizable voices in music, especially when accompanied by David Crosby, Stephen Stills and Neil Young... and his Alvarez guitar.
