David GrissomVeteran touring guitarist David Grissom has hit the road with John Mellencamp, the Allman Brothers Band, Chris Isaak, Ringo Starr, Buddy Guy, Martina McBride, the Fabulous Thunderbirds and the Dixie Chicks, just to name a few.Grissom joined up with other veteran sidemen to form Storyville, a breakneck blues/soul band that won six Austin Music Awards for its debut album The Bluest Eyes (1994). Piece of Your Soul (1998) followed to critical acclaim, and Dog Years (1998) rounds out the band’s catalog. Grissom continues to be a prolific songwriter and performer. His original songs have been recorded by Tricia Yearwood, John Mayall, Lee Ann Womack and Shannon Curfman among others.
