Ryan MillerRyan Miller shares vocal and guitar duties in Guster, a Boston-based band whose five studio albums include Parachute (1995) and Keep It Together (2003). Alongside fellow singing strummer Adam Gardener and percussionist Brian Rosenworcel, Miller uses Alvarez acoustic guitars to develop his band’s form of college-friendly alternative rock. For its latest releases, Guster on Ice: Live from Portland, Maine (2004) and Ganging Up on the Sun (2006), Guster added multi-instrumentalist Joe Pisapia as a permanent member.Having built a huge, loyal following by relentlessly touring and developing playful stage personas, Guster has gigged with the likes of George Clinton, Rufus Wainwright, Bob Dylan and Ben Folds.
